Marissa left a cush job in 2009 as a hedge fund analyst in Santa Barbara to pursue a career in real estate in Charlotte - on purpose - in the depths of the Great Recession. She has a degree in Financial Mathematics and Statistics.
Real estate accomplishments: Built a $50MM sales team and is in process of selling it (Team Lodestone), Million Dollar Guild Designation from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, completed 50 flips, performed acquisitions for a $250MM fund that sold to a REIT, built and runs a $100MM sales coaching program (GROW Sales Coaching).
Marissa thinks it's cute when her wife, Staci, says "y'all", "fixin" and other Southernisms, super loves the family dog, and is mildly interested in the family cat.
Marissa strongly believes that denim belongs in the workplace because she's a San Luis Obispo, CA native.
